First, I absolutely love how you'd never know this is an urn just by looking at it. As a girl who loves interior decorating, I am SO here for it! Both of my parents died within six months of each other and, until I found Welkin, I didn’t have urns for them. Their cremains were still sitting in the boxes they came in. Long story short, I never liked any of the urns I came across. They were either too expensive for what it was, never felt fitting for my mom and dad’s memory, or frankly just screamed “urn” and wasn’t exactly something I wanted thrown in my face every day or would be proud to put in my home.
I love these urns so much because they're super classic and beautiful, incredibly well made, fit into the aesthetic of our home, and you can really make it your own by adding greenery/flowers or just letting it speak for itself. I got the white one is for my mom and black for my dad, and I truly couldn't be happier or recommend these more. The quality is so obvious the second you open the box, and I'm so appreciative of what Kate has created here!
When my dad suddenly passed away a few months ago, I immediately knew I wanted a Welkin urn to hold his ashes. The urn is sturdy and beautiful and I love that it fits right in with my home décor. I couldn't be more pleased!
It took us a few years to find a memorial piece for our mom, but it was worth the wait. Most of the options we came across were dated, too traditional or felt low quality.
Nothing seemed right, so we got by stashing mom’s remains in a closet. Not ideal! Thankfully we ran across Welkin online, and it checked all the boxes. We’re proud to display our urn in the den alongside the rest of our decor, and it’s built like a tank.
